Motorcycle award for James

Author:  Clement Ng

Our Head Geek and CTO, James Agnew, has been recognized by Healthcare Standards for his contribution to healthcare worldwide!

James is credited as being “responsible for open source software that has impacted the lives of tens millions of patients (arguably even hundreds of millions), tens of thousands (perhaps even hundreds of thousands) of healthcare providers, and certainly thousands of developers around the world.”

Because of James’ contributions over the last decade and a half (initially for HAPI HL7 v2 and later for HAPI FHIR), HAPI FHIR is now the leading implementation of the FHIR specifications in Java that is downloaded at least 16,000 times a month (last we checked).

Well done, James!
